William Hinks Engravings on Linen Manufacturing
William Mizen Papers
Notebooks used in the weaving and mending departments of the mills. Also "Fundamentals of Woven Design," by Edward L. Golec, Lowell Textile Institute.
William Smith Papers
Includes papers, mainly bills, to estate of William Smith for labor, tending [saw] mill, etc.; receipts to John Smith & Peter T. Smith; and an agreement of Robert Karson, James Tatterson and John Smith, that Tatterson, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, build a roving billy, spinning jenny, and reel for Smith's mill in Hightstown, New Jersey. Also two records of dyewood and chemical purchases by Smith & Cook from Smith & Ackerman.
Winnipesaukee Lake Cotton and Woolen Manufacturing Company Records
Payroll for August, September, and October, 1870, listing workers' names and indicating that at least some worked making repairs and alterations to a dam at Wolfboro (probably Wolfeboro, New Hampshire) and also cleaning out the river (Winnipesaukee River, New Hampshire.)
