Collection of the records of the Stevens and Leland families and records for the family companies Snelling, Leland & Co., Brown and Adams Wool Commission (later Adams & Leland), and Knowles, Leland & Co. The collection also includes the personal effects of multiple family members and is comprised of photographs, company records, art sketches, books, daguerreotypes, a diary, newspapers and clippings, a wallet, advertisements, and albums.
