Hip-hop dance.

Contains newspaper and magazine clippings, art work, hip-hop flyers, photographs, materials documenting the activities of Rock Steady Crew, books, catalogs, posters, awards, and other ephemera. The collection also includes video documentation of dance and related hip-hop events.

Collection includes photographic film negatives, 4x6 and 8x10 prints, proof and contact sheets, large format finished prints, and associated ephemera. Many of the images have been digitized and arrived on hard drives.

Posters, flyers, news clippings, programs and other ephemera documenting the life and work of Jorge "Popmaster Fabel" Pabon. Materials document his life as a b-boy and active participant in hip hop culture from the early 1980s onward. Included in the collection are video tapes of rehearsals and performances, along with a black book of art work begun in 1981 while Fabel was in High School.
