Photographed by Wilson H. Brownell, Photographer, Brownell Studio, Moodus, Conn. Gelatin silver print. Image depicts the Neptune Mill as it looked at Christmas 1971. Building is three-story clapboard with a bell tower (see item 1 in this folder for a close-up of the bell tower). The Neptune Mill was part of the Neptune Twine and Cord Mills. See item 6 in this folder for an image of the mill as it appeared about 1875. The mill burned in 1972. Moodus is a village in the town of East Haddam, Conn. 25.25 x 20.5 cm.
