Scope and Contents

Gelatin silver print. Image depicts the Gilead Chapel, located on Neptune Green, across from the Johnson home in Moodus, Conn. Structure is a one-story building with a steep pitched roof, with bell tower. Emory Johnson and his son, E. Emory Johnson, operated the Neptune Twine and Cord Mills for 38 years. Moodus is a village in the town of East Haddam, Conn. Photo taken in winter, probably at Christmas time. 20.25 x 25.25 cm.
