COLLECTION DESCRIPTION From the Collection: Collection contains 45 field notebooks from Moore's southeastern archaeological investigations. Moore seems to have developed a system where he recorded his on-site information in a small notebook, and later transferred the data in a more polished form to larger notebooks which he then used as the text for his publications. The smaller notebooks often contain details which were eliminated from the larger texts. They have site lists appended. The large format notebooks include both site lists...
