While the name of the room where the show is broadcast has changed over the years, the Commons Coffeehouse, Cul de Snack, the Cafe at Anabel Taylor, Alternatives Library, the space itself in Anabel Taylor has remained constant. Phil Shapiro made his first Ithaca broadcast of the show in September 1967 on the WVBR radio station. Bound for Glory presents folk music of all types and has run for over 1,500 concerts.
