Annotation by Susie: "Christian Mann headed up a successful series called Afro Erotics to appeal to a black market and black actors. Distinguished because promoted black directors and the characters were presented as contemporary LA San Fernando Valley characters, rather than Southern antebellum caricatures. There are still racial cliches but it is a Genx generation point of view. "
