Written from the Palace Hôtel, Montreux, in English, 'regretting' the dangerous operation and long convalescence undergone by Orengo, acknowledging the difficulties faced by the translator of Ada but placing himself at the disposal of the latter, and refusing to consider seeing the French publication of Mary before the much more important Ada. Will be happy to see Orengo in Switzerland.
