The Gail Nicholson Collection of Local 553, Transport Workers Union of America, Files 1969-1993 (bulk 1989-1990) contains administrative records, correspondence, newsletters, membership mailings, and clippings from TWU Local 553, faxed communications from the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), and material produced by airlines, primarily Eastern Air Lines. Collection primarily documents TWU’s 1989 sympathy strike against Eastern Air Lines.
