Scope and Contents

Collection consists of material made for marketing and advertising campaigns for J.P. Stevens, North Andover, Mass., including promtion material with fabric samples from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Collection also includes man's patchwork shirt made from fabric designed by Springs Cotton Mills and deck of playing cards with Springmaid Fabrics logo and risque images from Springs 1950s advertising campaign from when Stevens took over two Springs mills in 1974.
