Gender nonconformity

The Cockettes were an avant garde theater group founded in 1969 and performed their last show in 1972. The collection documents primarily the publicity of the group and includs posters and handbills.

2 original issues of the zine Crass, the Crass constitution, handmade posters, notes from the community building brainstorm in November 2017 and the resulting Yag Barn Plan, and a “select a gender” basket that hung on a wall there.
