Approximately 40,000 sound recordings representing Bambaataa's music collection from the 1970s to the present. The archive also includes books, documents, and files relating to the founding and spread of the Universal Zulu Nation; and videos, papers, and clothing.

The core of the collection is a series of rare soundboard recordings of live performances taken directly from the soundboard, also party flyers.

Collection includes film production records, flyers, posters, original art, videos, audio, oral histories, photographs, slides, and vinyl recordings documenting early hip hop culture and the film "Wild Style."

Content Description Collection of 59 vinyl records and jackets with sharpie and paint marker graffiti tags. Records are tagged by both prominent and obscure New York graffiti artists. Many of the tags were written on white vinyl jackets, while others are on the original jackets issued with the records. Many of the records are also tagged on the label.
