The Goldstaub family papers relate to the effect on the family of Sylvia and Bernie Goldstaub when their son Mark came out to them as a gay man in 1977 and later when he became HIV-positive. The collection includes an audiotape of "Venetian Echoes" composed by Paul Goldstaub in memory of Mark, as well as the score and program notes.
