Henry Brodman, MD Papers

 Collection
Identifier: US-NNCORMA-RGPPM-006

Scope and Contents

The Henry Brodman, MD Papers contain matriculation and admission tickets, examination results, and official correspondence from Brodman’s time as a student at Cornell University Medical College (CUMC) between 1898 and 1901. The matriculation and admission tickets are five small cards that admit Brodman to study at CUMC for a given academic year. One of these indicates on the back that Brodman had completed the class’s anatomical dissections. The examination results are two small cards issued by the University of the State of New York (USNY), a state licensing and accreditation body. The correspondence consists of one notice from CUMC in 1899 that Brodman had passed his second-year class and was admitted to the third-year class, and another from USNY in 1901 stating that Brodman’s final examination had been accepted and his medical license would be forwarded to him.
