This series includes a collection of books, newspaper articles and maps published in or about Australia, New Guinea, and the Philippines and document the landscape, the history, and the environment of the South Pacific where the Ninth General Hospital was stationed. The newspapers and map are located in Box 5 in the first three folders of the series, followed by books on Australia, New Guinea and the Philippines in Box 6.
