Subseries 9B contains unpublished research study report, lab material, reprints, and correspondence related to Gold’s research from the accrual to the Harry Gold, MD Papers processed in 2023. This subseries addresses a multitude of subjects. There is an emphasis placed on Gold’s edema studies and psychiatric research, however this subseries also contains material related to Gold’s research on colchicine in gout, Robert Anthony Hatcher, auricular fibrillation, hydrochlorothiazide, Doan’s Kidney Pills, Talwin, and water fluoridation. The subseries also contains a bibliography that lists publications authored by Gold spanning 1923 to 1969, as well as a folder of compiled research calculations and equations Gold used over the course of his career.
