Subseries 1D is comprised of correspondence between Gold and the editors of various medical publications. The majority of the files document Gold’s conversations with the editors of the “Progress” Section of the American Journal of the Medical Sciences (he too served as an editor). This subseries also includes two folders of correspondence regarding the publication “The Interne” and Gold’s participation as an editorial board member.
