Biographical / Historical
From the brief: "Statement of Case. The plaintiff in error was convicted in the district court of Lake County, Oregon, for violation of a statute colloquially known as "the Ten Hour Law," (Oregon Laws of 1913, Chap. 102). The conviction was affirmed by the Supreme Court of Oregon (Opinion, R.12; 71 Or. 259).
