Scope and Contents
Materials relating to the conversion of the Dole-Suncook Mill complex in Suncook, NH, into a retirement community to be called China Mill Village. Mill was also known as the China Mill. Includes a letter, 1968, to the U.S. Federal Housing Administration, including a history and photographs of the China Mill, built in 1868. Also includes a copy of a news article from the Concord Daily Monitor, Jan. 11, 1968, concerning the project, plus reports and correspondence to Moody C. Dole. Also contains an article by Dole entitled, "An outline of history in the Merrimack Valley and assorted notes."
