He worked at a variety of textile companies, including Goodall Worsted Mill, Sanford, Maine; American Felt Co., Franklin, Massachusetts; Arlington Mills, Lawrence, Massachusetts; Collins and Aikman, Philadelphia; American Wool Mills, Webster, Massachusetts; Pacific Mills, Lawrence, Massachusetts; and the Derby Co.
