Biographical / Historical
Ayers & Aldrich was a woolen manufacturer in Granby, MA. It was established in the 1830's by Samuel Ayers, Jeriel Preston and Levi Taylor; Taylor served as superintendent until 1849. The company had several names: Taylor & Co., Ayers & Aldrich, E.F. Aldrich & Co., and C.C. Aldrich & Son. It closed sometime before 1874.
