Biographical / Historical
Helen K. Bromm (1880-1900), a native of Jersey City, NJ, studied art at The Cooper Union in NYC around 1905 and then did freelance work as an illustrator in Jersey City. She was also employed in New York City for ten years by a lilthographic firm doing advertising illustrations and labels/tickets for textile mills in New England and in the South. She also illustrated postcards for Raphael Tuck & Sons and worked as a magazine and book illustrator. She was married to Harrison M. Clark and had no children.
