Biographical / Historical
Robert C. Gray was born the son of the late Sarah (Wrigley) and Robert C. Gray Sr. on October 9, 1926, in Lawrence, MA. He was educated in North Andover and graduated from Johnson High School in North Andover, class of 1945. Robert went on in his education later in life and attended the Lowell Textile Institute. He worked at Troy Mills for 10 years as a textile chemist before retiring in 1995. Prior, he was employed at the West Swanzey Woolen Mill and Franklin Chemical in a similar role.
