The Clare M. Sheridan Collection of Textile Industry Records contains a mortgage deed from Wesserrunsett Woolen Mill Company (signed by Joseph Thompson as treasurer) to Dean E. Reed et al, for a certain parcel of land in Madison, Somerset County, ME, July 16, 1886. Deed included "the buildings thereon and machinery and fixtures in said buildings, together with the water power and dams."
