The Martin, Knight and Company Records includes a notification of change of business ownership: firm of E. Martin, Stouder & Co. and co-partnership of Miralla, Knight & Co. dissolved with firm of Martin, Knight & Co. formed August 20, 1823. Handwritten letter to Isaac Scholfield & Son, Boston, October 29, 1823 regarding market situation in Havana for cotton, coffee, sugar, etc. Also printed "Mercantile Weekly Report," Vol. I, No. 13, November 1, 1823. "Havana prices current for 1 Nov. 1823, forwarded by Martin, Knight & Co."
