Scope and Contents
The Glendale Woolen Company Records includes company stock certificates issued to John Z. Goodrich, 1860 and 1861, as well as articles of agreement, 1867, of Charles Goodrich, Joseph R. French and John T. Fenn, all of Stockbridge, to become partners for five years for the purpose of manufacturing cotton and woolen goods at the mill of the Glendale Woolen Co. The company was to be called Goodrich, Fenn & Co. Also includes an indenture, 1871, between Glendale and Charles Goodrich, leasing the brick store belonging to the company to Goodrich. A deed, 1863, selling property of the Glendale Woolen Co. to Amelia M. Goodrich, wife of Charles Goodrich; and three deeds to land owned by the Goodrich family in Pottawattamie County, IA, are also found in the collection.
