Albert and Paul Whitworth Papers include material from Albert Whitworth: Lowell Textile School Design Book, 1904; cost sheets with layout, drafts and some cloth samples (from Middlesex Company and U.S. Bunting Company) 1908-1914; notes re costing; monthly reports from Wool Institute of cost survey for various French and Bradford spinners, 1930.
Material from Paul Whitworth, Sr. includes receipts with notes from Whitworth & Company, Newtonville, MA, company supplied Aero Needles, Wendy Wools ( from England), Nu-vette sweater shampoo; also list of customers by state, undated; company was in business from approx. 1937 to early 1950s; became holding company for Ken-Kaye Crafts.
