This collection consists of two scrapbooks of newspaper clippings relating to the New York State CIO from 1945 to 1949.
The clippings are organized by topic. Topics include NYS CIO President Louis Hollander, strike support, New York State Board of Regents, creation of a state university, Cornell University's New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations, NYS CIO general activities, politics, and the NYS CIO Political Action Committee. Clippings are from regional and national press, in English and Yiddish.
