Contains materials, 1912-1913, from Ernest Bentley's work in England, including his agreement, 1915-1922, with James and William Bastard to manage a branch of their firm in Boston; biographical material about Bentley; trade agreements; topmakers' reports, 1956-1970; and testimony before the Tariff Commission, 1952. Also contains records of the Boston Wool Trade Association (BWTA) advisory committee, 1952-1953; annual meeting and executive committee minutes, 1952-1953; incoming correspondence to Bentley as president of BTWA, 1952-1954; and correspondence, 1952-1954, from the office of Clinton M. Hester in Washington, D.C. concerning his efforts on behalf of the BWTA.
