Item 11: Election supporter and voter, Lowell, Mass.
Scope and Contents
Gelatin silver print, 1948-1950? Image depicts a woman handing out a pamphlet or leaflet to a man outside what may be a voting place. The woman stands in front of a sign reading "Ward 8 Precinct 3"; another sign on the board reads "City of Lowell Polling Places." It is unclear what election this is or what the connection is to the TWUA, although she is presumably supporting a candidate favorable to unions. 25.5 x 20.5 cm.
