Image depicts the Pemberton Mills in Lawrence, Mass., showing six-story brick building with two fire escapes; the word Pemberton is in stone on the short side of the building on the right. A railroad car and railroad tracks are on the right next to the canal. Building is surrounded by other brick mill buildings; the old Washington Mills can be seen on the far right. This would be the mill built after the collapse of the prior Pemberton Mill in January 1860. 33.5 x 25.5 cm.
