Item 1523: Participants in girls' potato race, 1927
Scope and Contents
Printed in 1974 from glass plate negative no.A1523. August 1927. Image shows several girls engaged in a potato race, the idea presumably to be the first to fill your box (seen on the right) with potatoes. The girl on the far left is either way ahead of the rest of the group or way behind. Spectators in background; some men standing on right, probably officials of some sort. Most likely part of a "Field Day" organized by the Draper Corporation for Draper Corporation employees. See also Item 1520, Item 1521, and Item 1522, in this folder. 25 x 20.25 cm.
