Scope and Contents

Printed in 1974 from glass plate negative no.A980. August 13, 1921. Image depicts a man just clearing the bar of the pole vault, most likely as part of a "Field Day" organized by the Draper Corporation for Draper Corporation employees. Several men kneel or sit on the ground behind the bar, probably officials of some kind. Another competitor looks on as he kneels on the side on the right. Many spectators watch in the background.
