Printed in 1974 from glass plate negative no.A945. August 1920. Image depicts four men racing at the start of the 1/4-mile race, most likely as part of a "Field Day" organized by the Draper Corporation for Draper Corporation employees. The man in a white shirt, kneeling behind one of the runners (and partially hidden) is probably an official. Spectators watch from the side of the course.
