Scope and Contents

Printed in 1974 from glass plate negative no.A805. August 12, 1916. Image depicts a runner participating in a relay race, most likely as part of a "Field Day" organized by the Draper Company for Draper Company employees. The male runner appears to be about to break the string being held across the course at the finish line. No other runners are in sight. Spectators line the side of the course and some men in straw hats with their backs to the camera are on the right (possibly race officials). 25 x 20.25 cm.
