 File — Box: 1, Folder: 3

Scope and Contents

Printed in 1974 from glass plate negative no.A74. Image depicts a loom with two batteries. The area has been set off with a sheet to isolate the loom for photography, most likely within an unknown mill. A notation on the back of the print reads: "Loom (first fair, sent to Queen City Cotton Co.), Dec. 22, 1894." The reference to a fair could be a reference to a textile machinery exposition of some sort. The Queen City Cotton Co. was located in Burlington, Vt. The Draper Company manufactured textile machinery, primarily looms. 25 x 20.25 cm.
