Osgood House, Hopedale Street (east side), 1903
Scope and Contents
Negative no.B173. May 13, 1903. Image depicts a three-story wood clapboard house with a mansard roof, a porch that stretches the length of the front of the house and around the corner, and a small one-story extension with a bay window in the right rear. A balustrade runs around the edge of the front porch roof and of the roof over the extension. The house sits at the corner of Hopedale and Draper streets; it originally belonged to George and Hannah Draper and then to their daughter and son-in-law, Hannah Twing Draper and Edward Louis Osgood. By 1920 the Osgoods had moved to another house on the Hopedale-Milford line known as "The Larches." Original photograph by the Draper Company. 8 x 10 in.
