Scope and Contents
Negative no.A961. August 13, 1921. Image depicts a runner participating in the hurdles, most likely as part of a "Field Day" organized by the Draper Corporation for Draper Corporation employees. One man can be seen in the left foreground as he leaps over the hurdle; another runner is in the right background. Spectators line the left-hand side of the course. Founders of the Draper Company, brothers George and Ebenezer, were responsible for creating an integrated, planned community with innovative employee housing and recreational spaces and company events, in addition to employment. 5 x 7 in.
