Hopedale Stable office
Scope and Contents
Negative no.A1064. 1891-1895. Image depicts a view of a small, single-story clapboard building, with a man standing in the entrance. What appears to be a two-story residential house is in the right background, behind a picket fence; other buildings can be seen in the left background, also behind a picket fence. There is some snow on the ground and the trees are bare. The sign on the post in the foreground reads: This is a Private Way Dangerous Passing. The stables themselves are presumably located outside the image. Original photograph by the Draper Company. 5 x 7 in. See Collection 6612 P, Box 1, Folder 7, Item 1064 for print of this negative.
