Scope and Contents

Negative no.A1037. 1891-1895. Image depicts a scene along a river or pond. Fire hoses are connected to a hydrant in the right foreground and water is being sprayed in an upward arc, falling into the water. A wooden clapboard building (possibly a storehouse of some kind?) is on the left and homes can be seen in the background on the opposite shore. Original photograph by the Draper Company. 5 x 7 in.
