Scoured wool coming out of a scouring train, Cyril Johnson Woolen Company, Stafford Springs, Conn. Stamped on reverse: Burns Photography Inc. 3909 State St. Schenectady 4, N.Y. Tel. EX 3-3633. Gelatin silver print. Image depicts man removing scoured wool from scouring train (at left). Scouring removes impurities from the wool, generally by means of washing. 28 x 35.5 cm.
