Scope and Contents
Gelatin silver print, [1945-50?]. Image depicts a woolen condenser card, which is a wool card with a tape condenser on the delivery end. The tape condenser splits the doffer web into numerous narrow strips, condenses them into ropings and winds them on a jack spool. The Beattie Manufacturing Company made carpets. 25.5 x 20.75 cm.
