Black-and-white image depicts male workers standing by a spinning mule. Printed on reverse: The slubbings of carded wool were transferred to the 'Spinning Mule' where the delicate fibres were carefully drawn out and twisted, to form threads suitable for weaving." This postcard was likely printed in 1982 as the Leeds Museum of Science and Industry was created in 1982, but the image clearly dates from an earlier period. 15 x 10.5 cm.
