Scope and Contents
Black and white image depicts a woman working at a flax spinning wheel. The wheel appears to be set up outside a stucco and beam cottage. The title "Beginning of the great linen industry, Ireland" refers to this being the beginning of the process of making linen, although the real beginning of the process would be harvesting the flax.
