Scope and Contents
Black-and-white image shows African American women handling cotton, one of whom carries a basket filled with cotton on her head. Cotton appears to be spread out on the floor to dry and a ladder enables more cotton to be spread along the roof. Two white men stand observing the work. Image is quite faded.
