Scope and Contents

Black-and-white image shows workers rebaling cotton to reduce the size. One worker with his back to the camera can be seen in the left foreground, holding onto a chain that is hooked onto an already reduced bale. Several other workers can be seen in the background near larger bales of cotton. The machinery in the background may possibly be a cotton press.
