Horse drawn carriage in street in front of Merrimack House. Written on back (pencil) Dutton St. (L) Merrimack St. (R). The Merrimac House (spelling on stereocard is incorrect) was a hotel in existence at the corner of Merrimack and Dutton streets from at least 1841 until at least 1880. (Corresponding slide, Folderr 12, Item 5, in this box.) 17.5 x 8.5 cm.
