This collection consists of two volume of documentation relating to a jurisdictional dispute over representation between the Upholterers International Union (AFL) and the United Furniture Workers of America (CIO) at the American Seating Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Included are correspondence and notes, contracts, pamphlets and other printed material, and newspaper clippings.
