Other Organizations, LABOR Newspaper, 1966

This series consists of the Office Files of the RLEA for the year 1966. They are arranged into seven record groups: Government, Legislation, Judicial, RLEA, Railroads, Other Organizations, International Affairs, and Commuter Problems.

This series contains the records of the legislation that in 1967 created the Department of Transportation and its various agencies including the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). This series also contains records of the continued legislative hearings and committees convened to address the rapidly growing rail crisis in the Northeastern United States.
